Advocacy against Domestic Violence through Music, Yoga and Art. Shine the Light on Domestic Violence aka Turn the State Purple 2010. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This is the third year OPDV is working to Shine the Light on Domestic Violence a campaign to turnNew York State purple to bring attention to the issue. Purple is the color chosen to help.
